This position will supervise the front office to include colleagues who provide birth certificates, death certificates and medical /public records requests. Provides clerical, processing and record keeping support for the Vital Records staff to include; escrow accounts, monthly reports, daily deposits, quality control and other duties.
Quality control of monthly billing and invoice statements for escrow accounts and reconcile escrow payments to accounts upon receipt, monitors timely follow-up with payment vendor.
Quality control of the daily deposits from each cash drawer, run daily credit card report prepare and review deposit for accuracy before submission to the business office.
Provides back-up coverage for issuing birth and death certificate as a deputy registrar.
Must have vital records experience; be able to interpret comprehensive guidelines and policy for eligibility of receiving certified documents; must be detail oriented and excel at accuracy; must have four (4) years of increasingly responsible clerical/ administrative experience; and have experience with excel and other Microsoft word programs.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
Graduation from an accredited (4) four-year college or university.
Excellent articulation and writing.
Knowledge of Web Extender.
Initiative and attention to detail.
