This internship experience will be with the Community Development & Planning Division of the Nashville Public Health Department.
Time Commitment: This internship will start on March 26, 2018. It is reasonably expected that the intern will dedicate 12-15 hours per week to support the project. Students will be expected to commit 12-15 hours per week for a period of up to 6 weeks. Prefer the work to be completed in 3-4 hour blocks of time.
To maximize the internship experience, the internship duties will include:
Complete the qualitative analysis for Mobilizing for Action through Planning (MAPP) and Partnerships Phase 2 (Visioning), a phase that provides the framework for how the remainder of the MAPP process is to be directed.
Complete Word Clouds of themes found in analysis.
Assist in drafting the process evaluation report.
Provide updates to the Community Health Assessment Core Team.
Other project support as needed.

Education and Experience
Completed Bachelor’s degree in a health related field, and currently enrolled in a health related graduate degree (Masters of Public Health Candidate preferred).
Knowledge of Excel.
